Can Tattoos be classed as a culture?

Hi all and welcome along to Music2Tattoos! and today I wanted to ask your thoughts on a question that has been running through my mind for a while now……………………….

Can tattoos (and those that have them) be classed as a culture?

The tattoo industry has grown beyond measure with the demand for tattoos becoming one of the few growing industries it seems that it has become so large that it could almost be considered a culture of its own. When you put a group people together who have tattoos they tend to start talking about them, where and when they got them, who their artist is etc etc etc.

This community conversational feel to tattoos can even breakdown social devides as anyone can get tattoos and for any reason they choose. I’ve had many a conversation with people I don’t know about their and my ink work and I’ve thrown business towards my artist on may ocassions and I’ve been recommended to others.

So I wanted to open up the forum to you guys, what do you think? Can tattoos be classed as a culture?

Add your thoughts by clicking the little speech bubble to the top right of this post and leave me your thoughts, who will be the first to comment and put their thoughts forward?

If you want to get involved in a great community that are focussed around tattoos and the tattoo culture then Tattoo Me Now is the place to be – I love being involved; you will too!

Tattoo Design Site Review

Hi there and welcome to the latest installment from Music2Tattoos!

It’s Graham here and today I thought I’d review a few tattoo design sites so that you can make an informed decision on which one is best for you! If you want ideas for tattoos, pics of tattoos or free tattoo designs then this is the right place for you!

The three sites I’ll be reviewing today are:

I’ve been away for a week, recharging my batteries and enjoying time with my family and while I was relaxing I caught myself looking down at the artwork I have on my arms. I couldn’t help but think……. I need some new ink, I need a new tattoo. That is what has led me to writing this review for you as I’ve been activley looking for a new design and I know thousands of people out there are doing the same.

music3.jpg

Whatever tattoo design you are in to it’s always important to research a new design as much as possible so that you’re certain you’ve got the right one!

So let’s get on with the first review……………………

Tattoo Me Now (Click Here to visit the site)

I have to be honest I love this site and I’ve been a member of it for ages!

This site offers so much that most Tattoo Design Sites don’t offer; not only are there tens of thousands of awesome tattoo designs but there is also a community, a forum, with thousands of people on it.

One minute you can be chatting to someone about their latest ink and the next you can be chatting to an awesome artist who might just help you come up with your latest design! The people on there share a commonality – a love for everything tattoo!

This site really does deserve a FIVE STAR rating and is well worth a visit – even if you are just looking for your next design! Click the link above and have a look now!

Tiger Tattoo Design

Infinite Tattoos (Click Here to head straight to the site now)

Infinite Tattoos has recently been redesigned and re-released which has made a huge improvement to the site.

It’s always been on OK site………… but that’s all…..OK! However, the new site design and some of the new tattoo designs they have on there make it a real ‘go-to’ site for excellent ink designs.

They have also added a couple of great bonuses to their offer! When you sign up you will recieve

  • 500 free tattoo designs
  • A copy of the Ebook “You and Your Tattoo”

We all love free stuff, right! So it’s well worth a visit over there to see what is on offer for you!

Prior to their redesign I would only have given them 2 stars but now its a really good FOUR STAR site and well worth a visit! Click the link above to head there now!

Josh Todd

Tattoo Director (Click Here to head to this site right now!)

In the interests of fairness I couldn’t really review 3 really good sites so this is a particularly average one!

Tattoo Director is a site that offer software so that you can ‘design your own tattoo’ Now I don’t know about you but I’m not going to trust my next tattoo design to software! I like to go to my artist with an idea and a couple fo pictures and be able to talk it through with him so we can both come up with what I want!

I’ve had a look at the software and if I’m honest it’s quite basic and really doesn’t do much for me but by all means have a look for yourself by clicking the link above. You might just see something in it I don’t!

I’m only giving this a TWO STAR rating as it really isn’t my thing!

So there you go, 3 tattoo design sites for you to have a look at and decide which one is best for you! It’s worth pointing out that all 3 of them give a no questions asked, full money back guarantee so if you try them out and don’t like them you can always get your money back!

That’s it for me for now so until next time,

Good Morning from here in the UK!

It’s still chilly and I can’t remember an Easter weekend being quite so cold, I really thought by now that walking the dog in the morning would be a lot warmer.

I was thinking over the weekend about what tattoo I should get next and wondered if it should mean something to me or if it should just be a great design? Hmmmmmmmm

If your looking for great tattoo designs then check out Dream Tattoo by clicking the banner below!

Because I got married last year I really want something to represent family so while having a look around I found the following article by Emily Kato……………..

Choosing a Japanese symbol for a tattoo design can be a difficult decision. There are so many characters to choose from, it is worth taking the time to research and understand all of the options. There are a number of tattoo designs that are ever popular, including the Japanese symbol for family. Read on to find out more about this popular tattoo design.

The Japanese symbol for family is usually written in Kanji. There are three alphabets in Japanese, called hiragana, katakana and kanji. Most tattoo design will either …………. you can read the rest of this article by Clicking Here Now!

I found this artcile really interesting as I love Japanese style tattoos, in fact my upper right arm has a Dragon (the sign of the protector) and a Tiger (the sign of strength and courage) both shaped as if chasing each other and therefore making the sign ying-yang!

So I’m now searching for my next tattoo and I guess the answer to the earlier question is….. Yes, my tattoos do have to mean something to me – do yours? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this so click the little speech bubble at the top right of this post to leave me a comment!

While I’m looking for my next design I’ll certainly be spending some time on Dream Tattoo as it’s a great new site that I’ve found that has thousands of designs across all styles! Check it out now by clicking the banner link below:

Are Poor Quality or Unwanted Tattoos Ruining Your Skin?

Hi it’s Graham here once again on the Music2Tattoo Blog!

With the lack of Quality Standards Regulation in the tattoo industry it’s tough to find a good artist so when you do find one you should grab hold and keep hold. Unfortunately poor quality tattoos can put people off having more tattoos. But poor quality isn’t the only reason someone might want to get rid of a tattoo!

Click Here to find a completely natural way to remove an unwanted Tattoo at home!
Before getting started on this post I just wanted to say thank you for all of the direct messages I got from people after my post on Monday! I passed all of the comments on to my friend who was amazed by so many messages from around the world – thank you all so much!

Onwards!
My first tattoo was poor, I knew what I wanted and I took the design in with me but the artist simply wasn’t an artist! It came out quite poor; when I got home and looked in the mirror I could have cried! But what could I do? I desperately wanted that design on me so I have a choice of getting it lasered and starting again or finding a decent artist who could make it into what I wanted.

But as I said above it’s not just poor quality that drives people to want to get rid of tattoos; check out this article written by Susan Trudeau

Unfortunately, people of a spontaneous nature have a tendency to get tattoos without analyzing their tattoo design choice beforehand. This is most likely to happen with younger people who believe their tastes and passions will not change with age. Those of us who have gone through that phase and have matured to make better decisions in our life, know that you cannot talk some people out of their tendency to be spontaneous.
One of the most common tattoo mistakes is getting…………………. you can read the rest of this article by Clicking Here!

So have you got a tattoo that you want removing? Or maybe you’ve had some ink removed?
Either way I’d love to hear the story behind it so drop a comment on to this blog by clicking the little speech bubble at the top right hand side of this post!

I’m very fortunate because I’ve found an artist here in the UK who is at the top of his game and he did an excellent job of making my tattoo in to what I wanted it to be! He’s also done all of my ink work since and I can’t wait to get booked in to get my next work done – a design heading down my left forearm – check him out on Twitter @ronniegoddard

There is another way of removing or fading an unwanted tattoo so that you can get rid of it for ever or fade it enough to get it properly covered. It doesn’t involve laser treatments or anything harsh and abrasive; it’s completely natural – and guaranteed.
Take a look at Get Rid Tattoo to get more details on just how to remove your tattoo naturally!
There’s plenty of testimonials on there of people who have successfully used the method and more importantly there is a full guarantee! So click through now and see how this product could help you!

How addictive are tattoos?

Hi to you all around the world from here in the UK!

The weather is improving (for now) so hopefully spring is coming!
I was having a discussion with one of the guys in my band on Saturday night about just how addictive tattoos are! Now, for the record he currently has more ink than me but I’m planning on catching him up!
If you’re addicted to tattoos then Tattoo Me Now is probably my favourite site; I’ll tell you more about it in a bit but if you want to have a look now then CLICK HERE to head over there.

Over the weekend I decided to see what other people thought about being addicted to tattoos and I found this really interesting article by Bruce Fields……………….

As a general rule, human beings tend to avoid pain and seek pleasure. Tattooing is known for being a bit painful. Conquering this fear can be exhilarating and can instantly result in one wanting more and more tattoos once they understand that they can handle the sensation. This can, however, get a bit out of hand. Tattoos are a form of art and, like any form of art, too much of a good thing ……….. You can read the rest of this article by CLICKING HERE!

On to my ‘addiction’ to tattoos! While my friend has more ink than me he doesn’t believe that tattoos are to addictive; his argument is that he gets tattoos done because he likes them, he spends loads of time researching designs in books and on the net and when he finds something he likes he gets the work done.

Now, while I understand that my view is slightly different; I know that when I get a new piece of work I instantly want more done. I look in the mirror in the morning and think to myself “I so want to add to that” or “What else could I get done” for a few weeks after having some work done I am constantly thinking about my next project. Then, when realisation kicks in that I can’t afford anything else for the moment it drags me down; I feel like I’m missing out, like I need that fix! To me those are the signs of an addiction!

I’d love to know your thoughts – are you addicted to tattoos? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Here’s how I quench my thirst for more ink when I know I can’t afford it; I try to spend time with a community of like minded people and the best site I’ve found to that on is Tattoo Me Now! It not only has one of the biggest gallery’s of ink designs out there, it has loads of great artists as well. But to top all of that it has a community forum that is 60000 people strong and growing!

You can get involved with so many different types of people and with discussions around your passion for tattoos (as well as discussing pretty much anything else as well!). It really does give you everything you could hope for in a tattoo design and community site!

Tattoo Software – Really?

Hi there wherever you are around the world!

Welcome to the Monday blog and thanks for taking the time to have a look at what I’ve got to say! Today I’m going to review a site called Tattoo Director that offers software for creating your own tattoo designs. Now if you’re as sceptical as I am you’ll be thinking something along the lines of “tattoo designs from software? You’re kidding right?”
Well no, I’m not kidding and actually I was quite surprised when I had a trial run of the software; if you want to have a look at it Click Here Now.

First I have to say that at the moment I’m quite envious; 2 of my friends are off to get some new ink work done this week and I’m not! To me tattoos are very addictive and when I see someone else getting work done and I’m not I always get a little edgy! My next design will be going down my left forearm and I can’t wait to get it done but I’m just struggling with time and money at the moment – but hey, aren’t we all!!

So let me introduce you to Tattoo Director, the website itself is very well written although some of the pictures look a bit fake! That’s why I was a bit sceptical but I had a trial of the software and was actually quite surprised.

It’s easy to use and has tons of designs that you can use to create your own unique ink work, you can then size it to what you want, print it off and take it along to your tattoo artist and get the work done – it really is that simple.

However, I have to say that from my own personal point of view I prefer a hand drawn piece, I’m no artist so wouldn’t dream of doing one myself but I would expect to be able to take an idea to a tattoo artist and have them draw up something for me. I might even take pics from the net and have something put together so I guess this software could come in handy in that sense but I wouldn’t use it for a finished work!

All that aside; if you’re looking to get a whole bunch of work done or you and a group of friends are all looking for new, individual designs then this really could work for you and it will stop you trawling the net trying to get design ideas.
Take a look at the website now by Clicking Here and see what it has to offer for you;you might just be surprised and be able to create your own unique design.

Right, I’ve got to get off as I need to go and review a couple more sites that I’ll be bringing you soon.
Until next time remember to have fun and enjoy life!
Graham
P.S. make sure you head over and check out Tattoo Director by Clicking Here as it might just be the answer to your design searching!

Have you got Tattoo Fever?

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to have a read of my blog!

Wow, what a weekend! My band was playing Friday night, we had 3 birthday’s in the same place so it was manic! This was followed by a 300 mile round journey on Saturday to pick up our new dog Rocket and then 2 nights on the sofa with him as he’s only 5 months old and doesn’t like being left alone at the moment!
And then Monday morning comes around! I’m shattered!
On top of all of that I’ve put the finishing touches to this blog and researched a brand new site to bring you – Oh man I need some sleep!

Anyway, for now let’s get on with it!
I’m a huge tattoo fan, I have several and always want more (they are so addictive aren’t they!) so I’m always looking for sites with great designs and this one is up there with the best I’ve seen, it’s called Tattoo Fever – you can visit the site now by Clicking Here!

But first, I’ve found this fantastic article called “101 Tattoo Facts”

1: An Ohio restaurant specializing in cheeseburgers offers a lifetime 25% discount for anyone who has a tattoo of a cheeseburger and at an unrelated tattoo studio in a nearby town, they’re offering a 25% discount on cheeseburger tattoos- Sounds suspicious.
2: Tattoos are rarely done in ink, what is commonly called inks, are actually suspended solid color particles, mostly metal salts and plastics, but not vegetable dyes as commonly believed.
3: There are no reported cases of HIV infection from a tattoo in the U.S., but there are three from dentist’s offices.
4: More women than men are getting tattooed today.
5: Tattoos are considered a minor ………………………………………..
You can read the rest of the article here http://EzineArticles.com/3715908

Now on to Tattoo Fever!

Tattoo Fever offers over 14000 different designs and includes everything from your first tattoo through to tattoo aftercare. Now that’s not something I’ve seen on most tattoo design sites; most of them just offer designs and maybe a chat room but this site has the complete tattoo offering! Let’s see what you get:
– Tattoo experience training videos
– 14000+ designs including tribal, chinese, dragons and many many more styles
– 1000’s of member submitted designs
– Tattoo aftercare training videos
– Plus a 30 day full money back guarantee – that’s hugely important as it means there’s no risk to you!

That all adds up to a total of over $380 worth of material and you can have it for just $19.95 with instant access to everything! Plus, remember you get 30 days to claim your money back in full if you’re not happy!
I’ve had a look at the material you get and it’s pretty impressive; if you’re looking for your first tattoo then the training videos are good but of course if you’re an experienced hand with ink then you probably won’t need them!
However, whether it’s your 1st or 50th tattoo the designs will still inspire you! They are worth the price of admission alone! I think I’ve found my nest tribal design to go down my left forearm on there so I’m a happy boy!
Click Here to head to the site now and get started with you next ink project!

Right I need to go and walk the dog, it’s just started snowing here and he’s going nuts as he’s never seen snow before! This could be a long walk.

Until next time, happy searching
Graham

P.S. make sure you head to the site now and get started, we all know tattoos are addictive and this is the site to feed your addiction on!
